I was on the bus this morning. The view was incredible. Meath looked gorgeous – thick mist hanging over the fields with beams of golden sunlight burning through. Trees, hedges, farm buildings fading out to white nothing. Lovely. But. Between the movement of the bus and the slimy dirt of the windows, it wasn’t worth…

I see a lot of beautiful sights (and plenty of ugly ones too) on my daily commute. A 50 mile round-trip through the countryside of Meath, Dublin city and the coast at Sandymount. It takes 35 minutes each way on the bike, but I normally allow myself 30 minutes or less, so there’s rarely time to…
