The mist descends on Meath around about now and doesn’t lift till spring. This morning it was starting to clear as I was leaving for work and I rode out of it on the M2 to find the sun and blue sky waiting over Dublin. The perpetual damp is an ideal home to all kinds of mushrooms and toadstools. Walking the dogs this morning, I came across a big cluster of them that looked like a hedge-school for elves.
fantastic mushroom photos–love the angle with which you took the first one. and, yes, they do look like elves’ homes!
thanks!
Nice !
