Isn’t it great, that in October, I can still hope to get one or two more great summer walks in? Global warming is working out pretty well for us in Ireland this year, with temperatures still up in the twenties. The only real indication that it’s not summer any more, is the fading light. In July, it was bright up to and beyond 11pm, and darkness came in a long, gradual fadeout. Now, the sun disappears at about 6.45 and it’s completely dark by about 7.30.
I took these shots of the wreck of the Irish trader at about 7.15pm on saturday september 27th.
